No Fooling?

On April 1st, a new federal law came into place banning the use of asbestos in renovation and building projects for government buildings. That’s April of 2016. The cancer-causing material is still used in a number of products ranging from automotive brake pads to plumbing lines. The Occupational Cancer Research Centre calculates that more than 2,000 Canadians a year are diagnosed with asbestos-related illnesses.
